3 stars for the socks+app. +1 for customer service.The first pair arrived with a defective left sock. Swapped the batteries, and the left still didn’t work. Got a replacement (great customer service!) They are REALLY tall socks, a bit too tall for my liking. My biggest issue, having REALLY cold toes, is that these don’t warm your toes, only the bottoms balls of your feet, and though that is helpful, it doesn’t solve the problem of chronic cold toes. I returned them because the hassle of putting on super long socks and tucking the battery pack in the little pocket while trying to avoid bending/breaking the little wire was cumbersome, and not worth the effort for still having cold toes. The app works surprisingly well, better than the reviewers all claimed on the App Store (iOS) and didn’t require me to give personal information on order to function like many claimed. Perhaps they fixed it before I downloaded it. Either way, they do work, but not quite as hot as I’d like, or in the right area.The product is wonderful. The cell phone app is great. The sad thing is that the directions are terrible. Here are the directions that will save you 2 hours of agony. It will take you 10 minutes or less to enjoy your socks.IWARMU – Socks information To start using socks1. Connect batteries to socks2. Press button on each battery until you see 4 green lights.3. Do a long button press to get 3 red blinking lights4. Do a short button press to stop lights from blinking5. Short press the button to make last light blink6. Press button again to make light to go off.7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you see just one red solid light which is the lowest temperature forthe socks.8. Go to the cell phone and see if the Bluetooth is on. See if the socks are linked to the app. Youwill see NB-Heated-01 twice. Keep socks/batteries near the phone.9. Go to the IWARMU app. Find the screen with the big circle and a small off circle in the center.This is the on/off button switch for the socks.10. Press the button on the screen, and it changes to ON. It now shows the socks, and thetemperature of 104 degrees, if you have just one red light on the battery. You can adjust the temperature and the timer for time that the heat is on. You can also press the striped icon on this screen and fill in the information of where you are located to get the outside temperature.11. To turn off the socks, you can go back to the big circle page and press the ON button to turn off the power. You can also press on the sock pictures and turn them off.Very comfortable. Do not even know they are heating until you dont have them on. Very low heating, but keeps my feet warm for hours in the treestand. The app for control can be a little glitchy at times, but the socks do their job!Tried to load app 3 days in a row on the 3rd day tried at 5:00am loaded without problem. Had I not been able to get app installed would have returned the socks. Just used them on a hunting trip socks fit fine and were comfortable. Heat worked well wish battery life was longer.They do work as far as the app connecting and heating but even in large it’s gonna be a snug fit for a big guy…my wife ended up with them and loves them lol.Socks are good worked great but had problems but customer service is also goodI recommend these socksUpdateSocks are hit or miss bluetooth problemsSocks do not connect or one connects onlyThey are not reliable when they work wonderful but when they don't very frustratingWell I was a bit skeptical about heated socks, but these are awesome. You can adjust them with your phone if you would like to, and the socks themselves seem like they will hold up fairly well. They are very comfortable! I have big feet and I saw them and thought for sure they would not fit, but they did and they fit pretty good. I would recommend them, if you have cold feet about it, just do it because you won’t have cold feet after!My mil has bad circulation in her feet. In the winter her feet are always cold but these have been a game changer for her
