Really like these well made, thick, warm e-socks with heating elements dispersed throughout foot. With 6 temp settings I don't need higher than 3 or 4. Perfect for cold Minnesota bike rides. So why only 4 stars? The iWarmu App is garbage...totally useless. I hardly got past the app registration screen. It required my phone number but had no place to put it & no recourse re directions.Socks still work well with no app. However, it requires one to set temp level putting socks on so basically there is no way to change temp once they're on. Nevertheless, still recommend socks & would buy again.These socks feel great & can be pulled up above my hunting boots so that battery packs don’t get pinched against legs. The app works well at times, but at others it’s not reading accurate (socks aren’t running as warm as shown on app). Prob a glitch/bug that can be fixed. ..or could be operator error (me). The batteries do run down quicker than I’d like -and haven’t yet been exposed to late season, longer hunts for a true test. If the app glitch can be worked out & battery life can be lengthened, It’s def a 5 star product.Socks worked great when they worked. App was easy to use on my smartphone. Had 1battery that quit taking a charge. I returned the socks and ordered a new pair. Hopefully the battery issue was a fluke.I’d say that these are the best battery operated socks out there, especially for the money! I’ve tried several kinds of socks and theses have done the best. The batteries last 4.5 hours. I whitetail hunt in Wisconsin and the weather was just blowing snow with 32 degrees and I sat out from dark to dark with warm feet! I was sick of always buying toe warming hot pads for my boots. The app is great for adjusting them on your phone! The thing I like the best about these socks is that you can adjust them to hot and with in minutes your feet are warming up. It’s nice to know that I finally can rely on a good product to keep my feet warm all day!Changing my review from 1 star to 4, I got the app to work and it is pretty sweet although my right sock likes to shut off randomly. That's why I give it 4 instead of 5.These socks have worked great for me in bitter cold Yellowstone and while watching ice races in Massachusetts. I spend a lot of time outside photographing wildlife and more and these have kept my feet very comfortable in my boots. It sure beats the throw away heat packs that always seem to bunch up under your toes. I have had no trouble charging the batteries and connecting to the app on my phone. Highly recommend.I can recommend the socks; they have a nice feel to them. I ordered an X-large and am a size 9 (women). If When using the socks on the lowest setting, they will keep your feet warm the entire day without making them sweaty. I used the socks while skiing at 20 degrees temperature.Wear sock liners with them. I got a blister on my foot from excessive heat spot. Liners would have helped. But they work great.
